One Week

Only one more week until we have our 12 week appointment. I can say this time I’m not as nervous based on all my symptoms. My belly popped on Sunday morning. I have to say I look pregnant now and hiding it is far from impossible. I’m only 5’3” tall so the only place for this baby to go is out. Seeing my belly growing is bringing me comfort that all is still ok. Plus I’m still eating like there is no tomorrow and still exhausted. I’m sure everything is fine.


They are only going to check for the heartbeat at my appointment. Honestly I really want another ultrasound to see this baby. I looked through and we had 7 ultrasounds for Liam due to previous miscarriages and he was measuring so big. An ultrasound provides me more piece of mind I guess to know that the baby is still growing right on track.

We are trying to wait to tell people until after our appointment. But if you look at me at this point, they can probably take a pretty good guess at what is going on. And honestly I don’t want to hide this miracle. This baby is precious to me. Till the 19th we will wait to make official news.

And this baby is now going to be called “Sweetpea”. Can’t wait to meet you Sweetpea in October 
