Here is a photo of Peanut as promised. He/she was measuring 13 weeks but was probably stretched out. It wasn't moving so I'm assuming the little one was taking a nap. Must be nice as its 2:30am in the morning and I can't sleep. This has been the case since I got pregnant. I think this baby is a nightowl (taking after their father)! This is from an external ultrasound so its not quite as clear as the other photos but its still precious anyways.
We don't see Peanut for 4 weeks, on July 28th. Interestingly enough, July 28th is my husband and I's 3rd year anniversary. I don't think I could ask for a more perfect gift. I will be 16 weeks 3 days at that point. Can't wait to see Peanut again.
I hope all of you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Our good friends from DC are coming to visit us. The guy is my husband's childhood friend and the girl is one of my close college friends. They were both single at our wedding so we introduced them that night. We thought they might hang out and have a good time that night but that would be it. Well almost 3 years later they are still together. Who would have thought? You really never know what life will bring you!!
