I think I have discovered my motto for this pregnancy. I started saying this before we got pregnant. I needed something positive to reflect on.
I’m trying to remain positive though deep down I know I’m scared. I’m trying not to go there. This was IS going to work. It has to work. My husband and I both checked out healthy so there shouldn’t be anything stopping this right?
I am already in love with this baby. Last week before I even had confirmation I felt this person growing inside of me. This baby can’t be taken away from me.
I wanted to thank all of you for you’re congrats on my last post. I really couldn’t have gotten through these last few months without you ladies. I am definitely going to need your support through this next chapter in my life. Besides my parents you all were one of the first people I wanted to tell. It’s because you understand and know how exciting and scary all at once this is. Most people in my life can’t comprehend that.
I’m still hungry and very tired. I’m reading this all as a good sign. My first ultrasound is May 24th which I will be 7 weeks 1 day. We just have to get through the 7 week mark. That is as far as Nathaniel and Grace grew.
I’m going to take this pregnancy in baby steps. Each day I get through with this little person is a blessing.

You are wise to take it in baby steps. That is what I am trying to do as well. I'm just hoping that in 8 months we're both bringing home healthy screaming babies!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and my prayers are with you and bub for a healthy heartbeat on the 24th
ReplyDeletetake care
Your motto is one I used quite often. It is so hard not to fall absolutely in love right away. We try so hard to protect our hearts but I'm not really sure it is possible. Praying that your little one continues to grow and you see a gorgeous beating heart on the 24th.
ReplyDeletehang in there - your appt will come very soon and I pray that this is yours to keep and you'll see that beautiful flicker
ReplyDelete*huge hugs* These next couple weeks may be hard, but we are here for you every step of the way.
