(yolk sac on the left and the baby is on the right)I'm still in shock and find it hard to believe that this is really happening. Our baby's heartbeat was 160 and he/she was measuring at 7w2d, which is 1 day ahead of schedule. I never thought this could actually happen after what we have been through. I am thrilled and overjoyed.
This is a huge milestone for us. We saw Nathaniel at 10 weeks and he was only measuring a little over 7 weeks with a heartbeat of 87. With Grace, at 7 weeks we didn't find a heartbeat. Seeing the heartbeat of this baby was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
I am thankful beyond words. Thank you all for your prayers. I have hope again that this is going to work and we will be parents. There were so many days along the way I didn't know if I would ever have hope again.
I know we aren't out of the woods yet but this is a a huge hurdle for us. I have to continue to take care of myself and this baby. I will do whatever it takes to bring this little person into this world.

ReplyDeleteSoooo happy for you and your hubby!! I never made it to seeing a heartbeat with my previous two and the first time we saw it I cried like crazy. It really is just an amazing sight. I will continue to pray that your little one grows big and strong!!
ReplyDeleteOh and I guess we're only a day apart then! None of my ultrasound visits have included measurements, but since we know exactly when the transfer took place, we know exactly how far along I am! I'm so glad things are looking so good for you. :)
