3 Hour Test Done

I survived the 3 hour test even though it wasn’t fun by any means. I felt like I was going to faint about an hour after drinking the sugary mix. An empty stomach and the drink don’t mix well. But I did it – for Peanut. Getting poked in your arm 4 times in a 3 hour period is not fun but I know Peanut is worth it. I thought I would get the results today but will have to wait about a week for them. I just hope I pass. I passed the one hour so I’m feeling good I will pass this one as well.

My belly was measuring at 32 weeks, so only 2 weeks ahead this time instead of 3 last time. Maybe Peanut just had a really big growth spurt that one time. I continue to gain weight which seems a little scary as I’m really not eating that much more (ok yes I indulge in ice cream each night). I am all belly though and haven’t felt like I’m gaining weight everywhere else which is good.

Having time just sitting in the doctor’s office gave me time to think that this is really going to happen for us. I can’t wait to meet our little boy.

We found out that the crib we ordered 3 weeks ago arrived and will be delivered on Saturday!! I cannot wait to have it in his room as the only furniture so far is his dresser and a bookcase. It’s getting real and oh so exciting!

  2. YAy for that test being over!! I thought you only did the 3-hour test if you failed the 1-hour though? Oh well... at least you're done with all of it!

Our crib is supposed to arrive today or tomorrow too - can't wait!! :)

  3. I hope your 3 hour test comes back good. I didn't feel well after the one hour test. Cannot imagine the 3 hour one. So excited the crib will arrive soon. How exciting!! We are waiting for some furniture to come in as well.

  6. If you passed the one hour, why did you have to do the three hour?

I passed out twice during my three hour test. Not fun!

You should post a belly pic! :)
