32 Week Appointment

I had my 32 week appointment this morning. I didn’t gain any weight!! I must say there have been weeks where I gained more than I should have so it was nice to level off this week. My blood pressure was really good at 114/62. This is the lowest it’s been. My belly is measuring 35 weeks which is 3 weeks ahead again. They said they want to do another ultrasound at 36 weeks to gauge his growth from the 28 week ultrasound. Just another opportunity to see him!! His heartbeat was in the 120s which is a little low for him but he was sleeping right before. He gave a big kick while she was checking his heartbeat. My husband, doctor and I definitely couldn’t miss it.

This past Saturday, my mom and some close friends planned a surprise shower for me. Words could not express how much it meant to me. After all we have been through it felt surreal to have the shower. Some days I never thought we would actually have a shower. I did have a few meltdowns at the party. Peanut made out pretty well. It was the perfect day and I honestly I could not have asked for anything more.

Tonight is our last birthing class. I’m sad to see it end. We have a great teacher along with two great other couples. It’s been an awesome learning experience and I’m so glad we did it. We are going to be attending a newborn care class the end of November so at least I have that to look forward to.
