My husband was playing basketball last night so it gave me time to finally watch the CMA awards that I taped a few weeks back.
I was enjoying myself and not thinking about things until Carrie Underwood came on. She sang her song “Temporary Home”. I’ve heard it before but this time really listened to the words. Then the tears started to flow. The song to me reinforces that life on earth here is our “temporary home”. Our “permanent home” is ultimately and hopefully in heaven with God.
I started to relate this song to my angels. While here on earth, their “temporary home” was in my womb. I was reminded of how beautiful that thought was. Unfortunately they left their “temporary home” sooner than I would have wanted them too. Although it kills me and I ache for them daily, they were one of the fortunate that was able to make it to their “permanent home” with God. For some reason, that was where they belonged. They are enjoying eternal life and at peace and for that I’m grateful. I have faith and I truly believe this is the case.
If you haven’t heard the song, please listen to it. It put things into perspective for me. Life here is precious and short and all we can do is make the most of the time we have here.
On a side note, the 2WW is almost over. I will let you all know how this weekend turns out.

I am going to have to listen to that song. Good luck ending your 2ww!
